Trail Mix Club FAQ
Got Qs? I got you! Here's what you need to know 😊
GENERAL
What is the Trail Mix Club?
The Trail Mix Club is a monthly snail mail subscription from The Bible Trekker Society. Every month I put together a little envelope full of Bible study and journaling goodies and mail it straight to your door. It's old fashioned fun mail helping you engage with Scripture in a way that feels like a little adventure. No rush, no pressure, just a chance to grow and learn at your pace!
What comes in the envelope every month?
Every month your envelope will include:
- The Walk the Trail Magazine — a 16-page mini Bible study magazine with a Bible study, devotionals, journaling prompts, and activities
- A monthly collectible BTS badge sticker
- Stickers (either die-cut or a sticker sheet)
- A personal letter from me
- A few extras like bookmarks, themed sticky notes, etc. (these vary month to month based on the theme and what I can source)
You can expect at least 5-7 items in every envelope. Trail Mix Club members also get access to all Club 119 resources inside the Bible Trekker Society community.
What is the Walk the Trail Magazine?
Walk the Trail is a mini Bible study magazine built around two passages of Scripture and a hymn each month. It includes a mini Bible study, devotionals, journaling prompts, and activities. It's designed to be flexible — do as much or as little as you want. Tuck it in your Bible, work through it slowly over the month, or tip in extra pages to create your own personalized little workbook. It's yours to make your own!
What is the New Member Kit?
When you first subscribe to the Trail Mix Club, I'll send you a New Member Kit before your first regular envelope arrives. It includes a welcome letter, your membership card, a new member badge, and everything you need to get oriented and settled on the trail. Think of it as your official welcome to the Society!
What is Club 119?
Club 119 is the digital access pass to The Bible Trekker Society and as a Trail Mix Club Member, you get access to it as well! It includes
- a monthly Scripture writing plan
- printable journaling cards/ephemera
- a playlist
- an archive of past scripture writing plans and playlists
- a community space/feed dedicated to Scripture writing where you can share your Scripture writing/journaling with others!Â

MEMBERSHIP & BILLING
When can I sign up for a Trail Mix Club membership?
The Trail Mix Club opens for new members on the last Monday-Wednesday of each month. If you miss the sign up window, you can join the waitlist to be notified when it opens again.Â
How much does Trail Mix Club cost?
Trail Mix Club is $17/month. Early bird pricing was available for a limited number of slots at a lower rate. Early bird members keep their rate for as long as they stay subscribed.
What was the early bird price?
Early bird members get a locked-in rate of $13/month for as long as they remain subscribed. These slots were limited and no longer available. Now $17/month applies to all new subscribers.
When will I be charged?
You'll be charged on the same date each month based on your sign up date. Shopify will send you a receipt each time your subscription renews.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — you can cancel your subscription at any time. There's no minimum commitment and no cancellation fees. If you cancel and later want to rejoin, you're always welcome back at whatever the current rate is at that time. Please note that early bird pricing was only available during the founding member window and cannot be reclaimed after cancellation.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes — life happens and I get it! You can pause your Trail Mix Club subscription at any time through your Shopify account. Just log in, head to your subscription settings, and select the pause option. Your subscription will resume automatically when your pause period ends. Please note that paused subscriptions will not receive that month's envelope — pauses take effect the following month's ship cycle.
How do I update my payment information?
You can update your payment information anytime through your Shopify account. Just log in, head to your account settings, and update your details there.

Trail Mix Club members have access to all Bible Trekker Society collections and spaces, including The Club 119 Studio, plus extra resources that I don't have room to mail. It's the full trail experience!
What's the difference between Trail Mix Club and Club 119 community access?
Both tiers have access to the Bible Trekker Society community. The Trail Mix Club is centered around Bible study and Club 119 is centered around Scripture writing. The Trail Mix Club is primarily a snail mail club with online community access and Club 119 is a fully digital, online community experience.Â
BACK ISSUES
What is a back issue?
A back issue is a digital copy of a past Walk the Trail Magazine. At the beginning of the month, I make that month's magazine available as a digital download in my shop for anyone who wants to grab a copy.
Where do I find back issues?
Back issues are available here in The Live Well Paper Co. after each month's Trail Mix Club mail has been sent out.
Does a back issue purchase give me access to the Bible Trekker Society community?
Back issue purchases include the digital copy of Walk the Trail Magazine only and do not include community access. If you'd love to be part of the community, the Club 119 pass is always open and Trail Mix Club memberships open every month for a short enrollment window.
